Amphibian Life is getting popular. It is not something new. In East Asia it has been since more than 15 centuries. At present, even super rich people have got a fancy to live in the seas.
Many want to test the future on the seas. Many are fairly disgusted of the threats because of Sea-Level-Rise etc. Besides, it has a call for people who seek temporary isolation and distance from the daily life. The mild splashes of the waves soothe a person.
Many have their cabin boats to spend few days in fresh water seas. The few days life on the waters of big lakes and rivers promises a future with "The Amphibian Mode of Living".
